✅ Player News:
Jonah Coleman (DEN) – Placed on IR with an ankle injury and will miss at least four games. The rookie was in line to possibly start in Week 3, but J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey have both been cleared and should split backfield work while he's out.
Zay Flowers (BAL) – If he's active Sunday against Dallas in Rio, he'll likely be on a snap count. He missed Week 2 with a hamstring injury after a 5-150-1 opener. Limited snaps would muddy things for both Flowers and Rashod Bateman, who led the Ravens in receiving without him. (Jeremy Fowler)
Mike Evans (SF) – He reportedly has "a pretty good chance" to play in Week 3 against Arizona, which matches Kyle Shanahan's comments earlier in the week. He returned to practice on a limited basis Friday. Treat him as a WR2 until you hear otherwise. (Ian Rapoport)
Jayden Daniels (WAS) – He's unlikely to play in Week 4 against the Colts because of his elbow injury. There's no firm return date, but the team is optimistic he'll miss fewer than four games. Marcus Mariota will start in his place. (Ian Rapoport)
Sam Darnold (SEA) – He's trending toward a return Sunday against Washington after missing most of the first two games with a glute injury. He was limited Wednesday and a full participant Thursday, and Mike Macdonald says a decision is likely by the end of Friday. Drew Lock has been excellent in relief (4 TD, 0 turnovers), so Seattle doesn't need to rush him, but everything points toward Darnold starting. (Brady Henderson)
Kyler Murray (MIN) – He says he recovered "pretty quickly" from the Week 1 concussion that forced him out on his 11th snap, and he's lined up to face Tampa Bay on Sunday. Carson Wentz went 2-0 in relief, but the Vikings always planned to go back to Murray once he was cleared. (Kevin Seifert)
That’s the news. Enjoy the games today!
