✅ Player News:
Zay Flowers (BAL) – Ruled out for Week 2 against the Saints after hurting his hamstring in the season opener. There's no timeline yet, but Week 3 at Dallas looks like a realistic return. Mark Andrews could see a small bump in volume while he's out.
Nico Collins (HOU) – Early testing showed only a Grade 1 hamstring strain, but the team is reportedly preparing to be without him for two games given his soft-tissue history. Managers should line up a replacement. (Aaron Wilson)
Puka Nacua (LAR) – Questionable for Monday night against the Giants with a groin issue, which is reportedly unrelated to his offseason psoas injury. He missed practice two days in a row, and the Rams play last on the Week 2 schedule, so managers will be sweating this one. Jordan Whittington is doubtful (quad).
Michael Pittman (PIT) – Out for Week 2 against the Patriots with a foot injury after being unable to practice. DK Metcalf enters the WR2 conversation despite a tough matchup, and Roman Wilson and Germie Bernard get a bump but are only viable starters in the deepest leagues. Pat Freiermuth is a back-end TE1 in a pinch.
Omar Cooper Jr. (NYJ) – Placed on injured reserve with an ankle sprain and out at least four games. He could still contribute later in his rookie year, but he isn't worth a roster spot in most formats. (Ian Rapoport)
Tua Tagovailoa (ATL) – Doubtful for Week 2 against the Panthers with an oblique injury. Cooper Rush (back) has already been named the starter, so Tua would only be a backup if he plays at all. He doesn't need to be rostered in 12-team leagues.
That’s the news. Enjoy the games today!
