The matchup looks fine on paper, but London's fantasy value is only as good as the arm throwing him the ball, and right now, that's a problem.
Michael Penix Jr. is reportedly still out and Tua Tagovailoa is banged up, pushing third-stringer Cooper Rush into the starting lineup for a second straight week
Rush's inefficiency limited London to just 2 catches for 29 yards on 4 targets in Week 1
That happened despite London logging 60 of 61 snaps and running 28 of 29 routes… the usage is elite, the quarterback play is not
Talent and target volume mean nothing if the quarterback can't get you the ball… be patient with London until Atlanta's QB situation stabilizes, because he’s going to pay dividends as the season goes on… just not this week.
✅ START: Garrett Wilson (NYJ) vs. Packers
I was down on Wilson all summer, but right now he is the definition of a target-funnel offense, and Green Bay's secondary already showed cracks in Week 1.
Posted a massive 33.3% target share, 81% route share, and 3.76 yards per route run in Week 1
Green Bay allowed 25.6 fantasy points per game to WRs last season
The Packers just gave up 39 points to Minnesota's passing attack in Week 1, confirming last year's trend is still live
When the volume floor is this high and the secondary has already proven vulnerable, Wilson becomes a safe start, so long as the Jets offense can look competent.
❌ SIT: Carnell Tate, WR, Tennessee Titans vs. Eagles
Tate led Tennessee in target share in Week 1, but volume doesn't matter much behind a line that can't protect its quarterback.
Cam Ward and the Titans offense were pressured on 41% of dropbacks in Week 1
That pressure rate has Tennessee projected for one of the lowest team point totals of the week
Philadelphia pressured QBs on 50% of dropbacks in Week 1 and held Terry McLaurin to just 3.4 points… a brutal follow-up matchup
Stagnant offenses facing elite, fast-arriving pressure are a recipe for a wasted lineup spot… look elsewhere this week.
✅ START: Stefon Diggs (WAS) @ Cowboys
Diggs looked every bit the veteran problem-solver in his Washington debut, which is exactly what they needed from him, and the matchup sets up perfectly for more.
Commanded a 31% target share on a 66% route share in his Commanders debut, with 60% of his routes coming from the slot
Caught a touchdown in that debut, showing immediate chemistry in the new offense
Dallas gave up a league-worst 33.1 fantasy points per game to wideouts last season and just surrendered 14 combined catches to Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely in Week 1
Heavy slot usage against a defense that has consistently bled production to receivers is exactly the recipe for a big Week 2 line.
❌ SIT: Brian Thomas Jr. (JAX) @ Broncos
The concerns about BTJ are turning out to be painfully true. An injury-limited Week 1 plus one of the league's premier shutdown corners is a combination you just can't trust in your starting lineup.
Left Week 1 hurt, logging just 20 of 57 snaps and 3 targets
He was outproduced in that game by teammate Parker Washington, muddying his role even before the matchup
Draws Denver’s tough coverage this week, who held him to just 3.8 points the last time they met
Between the injury uncertainty and lockdown coverage on the outside, Thomas doesn't offer the floor you need this week, so sit and monitor.
