Short Stacks (Honorable Mention)
Detroit Lions
QB: Jared Goff, ADP 117, QB14
WR: Amon-Ra St. Brown, ADP 11, WR7
WR: Jameson Williams, ADP 43, WR24
TE: Sam LaPorta, ADP 73, TE4
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs, ADP 6, RB3
The Lions have a nice combination of fun stack options, but they’re kept off the list for two reasons: the steep draft cost of the skill players and Goff’s low weekly floor due to lack of rushing upside.
New England Patriots
QB: Drake Maye, ADP 118, QB15
WR: Stefon Diggs, ADP 78.5, WR43
WR: DeMario Douglas, ADP 175.5, WR72
RB: TreVeyon Henderson, ADP 65.5, RB22
TE: Hunter Henry, ADP 168.5, TE21
It’s not totally out of the question to think there’s a proper combination here. The pieces are affordable to the point where I see Diggs and Henry as undervalued. Drake Maye is an exciting player with solid fantasy potential. But, ultimately, this team won 4 games last year and is too hard to trust.
Buffalo Bills
QB: Josh Allen, ADP 35, QB1
WR: Khalil Shakir, ADP 77, WR42
TE: Dalton Kincaid, ADP 140.5, TE14
RB: James Cook, ADP 43.5, RB14
Allen is obviously fantastic, but I have too many questions about the WRs, and Kincaid is far from a sure thing, as much as I like his potential this season.
The Top-5 Stacks of Fantasy Football
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
QB: Trevor Lawrence, ADP 133.5, QB19
WR: Brian Thomas Jr., ADP 13, WR8
WR: Travis Hunter, ADP 49.5, WR28
RB: Travis Etienne, ADP 107, RB34
TE: Brenton Strange, ADP 164.5, TE19
The two big wideouts are expensive on this one, but if you land one of them, Lawrence makes sense as a safety QB at the end of drafts. Etienne’s value is about where it belongs. Ultimately, Lawrence’s new-look WR corps is what puts the Jags into an appealing category here.
4. Cincinnati Bengals
QB: Joe Burrow, ADP 59, QB5
WR: Ja’Marr Chase, ADP 1, WR1
WR: Tee Higgins, ADP 23, WR13
TE: Mike Gesicki, ADP 176.5, TE23
RB: Chase Brown, ADP 28.5, RB11
The negatives to this one are that Burrow is a but overpriced, and you’ll likely need to pick in the first 3 to land Chase, who’s the most important part of a Cincy stack. But, if you do end up with Chase or Higgins, Burrow could end up being worth the reach. Both were Top-5 in points per game and Brown ended up 5th in total receptions among all backs.
3. Dallas Cowboys
QB: Dak Prescott, ADP 116, QB13
WR: CeeDee Lamb, ADP 5, WR3
WR: George Pickens, ADP 51, WR29
TE: Jake Ferguson, ADP 148.5, TE17
One of the best things about a Dallas stack is just how accessible it could end up being. If you grab Lamb in the first round, Prescott will be available much later, possibly even as your QB2. Ferguson’s value has also slipped too far after last season. The truth is, he’s going to be better as long as Dak is on the field. Ultimately, this is an offense that can be explosive, and with questions on defense, a lot of points will be out there.
2. Philadelphia Eagles
QB: Jalen Hurts, ADP 48, QB4
WR: A.J. Brown, ADP 16.5, WR10
WR: DeVonta Smith, ADP 46, WR26
TE: Dallas Goedert, ADP 141.5, TE15
RB: Saquon Barkley, ADP 3, RB1
To pull off any stack with Hurts, a lot of your draft capital has to go into the Eagles, which is a slight cause for concern. But, looking at the pure talent and upside, any Philly stack could pay dividends. Brown is still a beast in this powerful offense, and represents one of the best stacks you can get in the NFL.
