🚨 Player News:

INJURY WATCH:

Jaylen Waddle (DEN) – He is “trending toward playing” against the Chiefs after a chest injury suffered on a failed trick play in Week 7. He was limited in two practices and carries a questionable tag, so a snap count is possible. He was already struggling to reach WR3 numbers, so treat him as a high-risk FLEX. (Adam Schefter)

Zach Charbonnet / Jadarian Price (SEA) – Both backs were removed from the injury report and are expected to be activated from IR for Monday night against the Bears. It’s Seattle’s first game with both healthy this season. Price looks like the lead option, with Charbonnet likely on a managed workload in his first game back from a 2025 ACL tear. (Mark Garcia)

RJ Harvey (DEN) – He has been placed on IR with a knee injury and will miss at least four games. Rookie Jonah Coleman and J.K. Dobbins will handle the backfield, with Tyler Badie also on IR. Coleman is a weekly FLEX at minimum. (Mark Garcia)

Colston Loveland (CHI) – He was cleared after a full practice Saturday and will play Monday night against Seattle. Expect the Bears to lean on him against a stingy Seahawks defense. (Mark Garcia)

QB JOB WATCH:

Kirk Cousins (LV) – The Raiders plan to start him “as long as possible” and don’t blame him for their four-game skid. Still, No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza is waiting. After this week’s game against the Jets, Las Vegas faces San Francisco, Seattle and Denver, so a rough stretch could force the switch. (Adam Schefter)

Daniel Jones (IND) – The Colts reportedly haven’t discussed benching him. However, his contract includes a $10.51 million injury guarantee for 2027. If the 2-5 Colts fall out of contention, expect that conversation to start. (Tom Pelissero)

TRADE BUZZ (UPDATES):

Jonathan Taylor (IND) – New detail: Indianapolis has already turned down an offer that included a 2027 second-round pick plus another pick, so the Colts are holding out for top value. A trade would give Taylor a slight bump in value and hand Seth McGowan the Colts’ backfield. (Tom Pelissero)

Garrett Wilson (NYJ) – The Jets still have “no way” of dealing him before the deadline. He was held to two catches for 26 yards in Week 7 but remains in the WR2 mix against the Raiders. (Adam Schefter)

OFF-FIELD (UPDATE):

Josh Jacobs (GB) – Police records released Friday include allegations from three additional women, one dating back to January 2022. The NFL’s investigation is ongoing, and a suspension for the rest of the 2026 season is now a real possibility. Jacobs managers should have a backup plan ready. (NBC 26 Northeast Wisconsin)

That’s the news. Good luck out there today.
