Now, on to the picks…
WR: Ladd McConkey (LAC)
McConkey hasn't delivered the numbers his managers hoped for, but the usage and talent say this is a Chargers offense still learning a new system under OC Mike McDaniel.
Ran a route on 37 of 43 dropbacks and played 61 of 69 snaps in Week 3, a full-time role even in a quiet game
Was targeted on 39% of his routes in Week 1 (5 catches, 82 yards, a TD) before a chest injury, then played Week 2 through a cracked rib
Posted an 84.0% success rate vs. zone, the highest mark in the 2025-26 data set, per Reception Perception
We've seen what he can do, with 1,149 yards as a rookie. Once the Chargers work out the kinks, his target rate should climb back, so buy while his box scores look ordinary.
RB: Chase Brown (CIN)
Brown has been good, just not the league-winner his managers imagined, and that gap is your buying window.
Handled 71.4% of Cincinnati's RB opportunities in Week 3 and out-touched Samaje Perine 21-8 in Week 1
Only one touchdown so far, with the Bengals running just two red-zone plays in Week 2
Averaged 17.2 PPR points per game over the last two seasons with Joe Burrow under center, per Evan Silva of ETR
The offense finally woke up in Week 3, and Cincinnati owns the 3rd-easiest overall schedule this season. Touchdown regression is coming for a back who owns this backfield.
QB: Patrick Mahomes (KC)
Mahomes went outside the top 12 QBs in drafts, so there's a good chance he's sitting on someone's bench right now.
Currently QB6 in points per game, including a 29-point explosion against the Colts in Week 2
Has thrown multiple TDs in all three starts, something that took him seven games to do last year
Averaging 8.3 yards per attempt under Eric Bieniemy, up from 7.1 a year ago
He faces a soft Raiders matchup in Week 4 before the Chiefs' bye, and he has never finished lower than QB12. Make the offer now.
RB: Chuba Hubbard (CAR)
The consensus this summer was Hubbard's volume window had slammed shut, but Jonathon Brooks' injury just pried it wide open.
Brooks is headed to IR after core muscle surgery and will miss at least six weeks, leaving AJ Dillon as a breather back
Handled 23 touches for 110 yards in Week 3, nine more touches than Week 2 and 10 more than Week 1
Already has three touchdowns through three games (two receiving) after scoring just four all of last season
Hubbard lacks high-end upside, but for the next month and a half his floor is that of a locked-in RB2. Get him now, while his manager still sees him as a committee back.
WR: Nico Collins (HOU)
Collins hasn't played since Week 1, and his managers are sweating out a hamstring on one of their highest draft picks.
Caught 7 of 10 targets for 75 yards and a TD in Week 1 as C.J. Stroud's clear No. 1 target
Coming off three straight 1,000-yard seasons and a WR9 finish in points per game (15.1)
Adam Schefter reports a "decent chance" he returns in Week 4 against Dallas, which rated as the most favorable matchup for WRs in the Week 3 defense-vs-position data
Houston's WR schedule projects as one of the league’s friendliest the rest of the way, and Collins has been Stroud's alpha for three seasons running. This is the rare chance to buy a true WR1 at a discount, so act before he's back on the field.
That’s the list. 5 guys you could get the better deal for in trades if you play your cards right.
